The Education Partnership, formerly Storehouse for Teachers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that began as "Pittsburgh Community Storehouse," a program of Serving Leaders (formerly Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation). As Pittsburgh Community Storehouse, our success includes a ten-year history during which over $40 million in donated consumer products was procured and delivered to economically disadvantaged communities and individuals in the greater Pittsburgh area.
Analysis of local need led the organization to a refined focus on building a resource pipeline into our region’s classrooms. Storehouse for Teachers incorporated and obtained its 501(c)(3) effective October 15, 2009 and rebranded to become The Education Partnership on May 3, 2011.
Storehouse for Teachers has changed their name to The Education Partnership in order to better reflect the enhanced mission of the organization which is a dedication to addressing educational inequities by providing and enabling access to the tools and resources necessary to support teachers and enhance a student's ability to learn and succeed.
